In short

This site is a simple portfolio: no cookies, no tracking, no analytics tools. This website serves all files itself, including the fonts. It loads no content from other providers.

There is no automated decision-making or profiling here.

Hosting and server log files

When you open the site, the hoster’s web server automatically records so-called server log files. They contain:

your IP address
the date and time of the request
the requested page or file
the page you came from (referrer URL)
your browser and operating system (user agent)
the HTTP status code
the amount of data transferred

This is needed to deliver the website to you in the first place, and it helps keep it secure and stable, for example against attacks. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in this (Art. 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR – German: DSGVO).

The hoster processes this data on my behalf. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place for this.

The log files are only stored briefly and are then automatically deleted or anonymised.

You can reach me by email at contact.minewache@gmail.com. If you write to me, I process your email address, your name (if you give it) and the content of your message in order to reply. Whether you write to me and what you tell me is, of course, up to you.

If your message concerns a commission or preparing one, for example a mod or a website, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Otherwise it is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR: my legitimate interest in answering your message.

I delete your data as soon as it is no longer needed, unless statutory retention obligations require otherwise.

My mailbox is hosted by Gmail, so your email is also processed by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. A transfer to the USA cannot be ruled out. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission has adopted an adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR).

Light/dark mode (local storage)

The site is dark by default. Only if you click the light/dark mode switch yourself does your browser remember your choice in its local storage (localStorage, key theme); on your next visits the site reads it back from there. This entry stays on your device, is never sent to the server and can be deleted at any time in your browser settings. No cookie is set.

The legal basis is Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG (German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act): storing and reading it is strictly necessary to provide a function you have explicitly requested.

Links to other sites

This site contains links to other services, such as YouTube, CurseForge, Modrinth, Discord, GitHub, TikTok, Fiverr, wiki.sarocesch.de, minewache.de and BisectHosting. These are plain links: as long as you don’t click them, no data is transferred to those services. Once you click a link, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies.

The BisectHosting link is a partner link. If you click it, BisectHosting remembers on its own site that you came from me. That happens there, not here.

Old addresses of the former Minewache site on sarocesch.de (for example /bewerben) automatically redirect to minewache.de. If you open such an address, your request ends up there, and the minewache.de privacy policy applies.

Your rights

You have the right to:

access the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
have incorrect data rectified (Art. 16 GDPR)
erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)

Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): Where I process data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you can object to this at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation.
